blogspot site
by on 9/3/2008 1:25:15 PM

I've just finished creating a blogspot that I plan to download latest works to.  This is just another tool for people to be able to find my work online.

All the images will also be posted on my artworks page as "Recent Works" so they may be purchased thru PayPal here on this website.
The link for the blogspot is    www.lammertfineart.blogspot.com

This is the last image in the "Home Studio Space" series.  Scroll down to the beginning of this blog and work back up to here to follow my train of thought.

I have also taken over our basement where we cut frame moulding, store glass for stained glass projects, photograph artwork, store art festival display stuff and last but not least, do laundry.

Paintings on wall consist of my originals, showing different matting styles and frames to clients.

Converted the old closet into office area and shelves hold precut mats cut to standard frame sizes.  They also become a "catch all" area. No flat surface is sacred along this wall.

Again, paintings are of my work.  Hand images are fine artwork portraits of my husband and  I, done by a Renaisance woman and very dear friend, Victoria Morrow.

Framing area

This image is of first walking into framing/office studio.  Following images will be looking into room going clockwise.  I spend at least 3 hours minimum in this space daily.

home studio area

Hello,
In starting this blog, I'm posting images of my home work area so you get a feel of part of  my creative space.

I converted our spare bedroom into a framing/office area.
I frame a great deal of my own work and offer custom framing to those living near us.
The painting area, where my easels are, was the dining room.  I hang inspirational verses and images from favorite artists here to inspire me when working.
LOCATION!  LOCATION! LOCATION! This workspace is the first thing I see when leaving our bedroom in the morning.
